Transfiguration And Ascension

Today’s Theology Thursdays post builds upon our study of Christology and overviews two more significant events in the life of Christ and their theological importance: the transfiguration and the ascension.

With regard to the transfiguration, I like that the disciples receive a foretaste of Christ’s future coming and kingdom (drawing from Matthew 17:1-8).

This presentation also includes four significant facts about the ascension provided by Paul Enns from his The Moody Handbook Of Theology, an excellent resource.
